JJ identifies as genderfluid, and goes by either JJ or Jack when presenting as male, and JJ or Jackie when presenting as female. JJ isn't out to their family yet, especially not their mother, who believes all demons were made as they should be and has a negative outlook on both genderqueer and vice-hopping individuals. They're a demon, by the way. I mean you probably got that but just, you know, confirming that, haha.

In JJ's world setting, the vices and the virtues exist as social - and in some places, religious - castes. Every vice has its place and its merit, but some look down on certain castes and consider their own superior. So JJ, who vice-hops from Wrath to Lust (as Jackie and Jack, respectively) is toeing the line not just with their mom and their gender, but with society in general. THEY'RE A REBEL. No, actually, it sort of scares the shit out of them most days, and JJ spends a lot of time hiding both of these things about themself. A lot of their story is deciding whether they want to keep living this way, how they go about changing it if not, and the rewards and consequences that come because of it.
